This hotel was designed as a school project with the goal of creating a remote wilderness lodge that embodies the grandeur of a West Coast glacial-fed inlet.

The lobby pays ultimate tribute to the coast, featuring a floor-to-ceiling waterfall, open stone fireplaces, and massive wooden beams.

The walls adjacent to the waterfall carry through the water theme with a backlit wave design inspired by the ocean. Chandeliers were chosen for their raindrop design, reflecting the coastal rainforest surrounding the lodge.

The guest rooms are spacious and airy, with large windows that frame views of the old-growth forest behind. Custom furniture integrates indigenous art into the finishes, adding a unique touch. The bathroom is designed as an oasis, featuring a separate room for the freestanding tub, enhancing the sense of tranquility.

The spa captures the essence of the glacier with teal tiles for the floors and creamy white tiles for the walls. It is finished with single raindrop lights dispersed among the natural plants hanging from the ceiling, creating a serene atmosphere.
